MAY DAY

In United Kingdom there is a traditional festival conected with "os Maios" galegos.
In Canterbury,Lincoln or Bistrol is celebrated the "maypoles"and the May day.

    I love it here in Galicia is known as maios . I went to the last third of May and my favorite was a very very special Maio: Maio representing one somewhat ugly woman , naked from the waist up because it was a tribute to the many women who suffer from sexism

    I like May Day, in Spanish made moss figures but in England some traditions. Ex:one tradition is collect branches on the eve and take them to houses in the morning...It's very beautiful

    Yetersday, in Galician, was a party, because celebrate the Spring.
    In United Kingdom, also celebrate the "Maio" (name in Galician).
    In Galician and England celebrate with towers of flowers.
    I love this party.
