Greyson Chance biography

 

Chance was born on August 16, 1997 (he is now 13) in Wichita Falls, Texas (USA) and now lives in Edmond, Oklahoma. He has a 16-year-old sister, Alexa, and a 19-year-old brother, Tanner, both also play music. Chance began playing the piano at the age of 8 and had three years of piano lessons, but vocal training. He loves Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, Augustana, John Legend, Elton John and John Lennon. “I love artists who can communicate their emotions through music and sing from the heart. That’s what I’m hoping to do with my songs .”



He sang a version of  Lady Gaga's Paparazzi on a school party and it was a hit on YouTube. His brother wrote to a very famous tv presenter and asked her to watch Greyson singing Paparazzi. She loved it and invited him to her show.



She is Ellen Degeneres, a very important tv presenter in the USA.

    I may only be 12 but Greyson is amazing, I'm not even kidding. It's incredible that he has that much talent, and had the courage to do what he did. I hope that at some point I'll be able to do what he has accomplished! He's my idol, and I look up to him now. I love him! :)
