In United Kingdom there is a traditional festival conected with "os Maios" galegos. In Canterbury,Lincoln or Bistrol is celebrated the "maypoles"and the May day.
I love it here in Galicia is known as maios . I went to the last third of May and my favorite was a very very special Maio: Maio representing one somewhat ugly woman , naked from the waist up because it was a tribute to the many women who suffer from sexism
Hi teacher and class I like May Day, in Spanish made moss figures but in England some traditions. Ex:one tradition is collect branches on the eve and take them to houses in the morning...It's very beautiful Xoxoxox And Happy Mayor Day
