Next week is "National Pet Week" in the USA. Dogs are the most popular pet around the world. Why do you think so many people own dogs?

If you have a dog, explain what do you love most of them. If you want you can give me a picture of your dog, and I will post it here in the blog.

If you don't have a dog, would you like to have one? Why?

Do you like dogs or cats?

What other pets do you think can be at home with people?

By the way all these dogs and cats (and many others) are on adoption (that means you can adopt them). If you want more information about adopting an animal ask me. Don't be shy!!!

Greyson Chance biography

Chance was born on August 16, 1997 (he is now 13) in Wichita Falls, Texas (USA) and now lives in Edmond, Oklahoma^. He has a 16-year-old sister, Alexa, and a 19-year-old brother, Tanner, both also play music. Chance began playing the piano at the age of 8 and had three years of piano lessons, but vocal training. He loves Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, Augustana, John Legend, Elton John and John Lennon. “I love artists who can communicate their emotions through music and sing from the heart. That’s what I’m hoping to do with my songs .”

He sang a version of  Lady Gaga's Paparazzi on a school party and it was a hit on YouTube. His brother wrote to a very famous tv presenter and asked her to watch Greyson singing Paparazzi. She loved it and invited him to her show.

She is Ellen Degeneres, a very important tv presenter in the USA.

Greyson Chance: Waiting outside the lines

Ok, Easter is over and we are almost finishing this year. I encourage all of you to do your best to end this school year!

And now, this week's song is from a very young artist called Greyson Chance. Later I will post a part of his biography. He speaks very clear, althoug he has a very strange accent :D

Greyson Chance: Waiting outside the lines

Lyrics:

You'll never enjoy your life,
living inside the box
You're so afraid of taking chances,
how you gonna reach the top?

Rules and regulations,
force you to play it safe
Get rid of all the hesitation,
it's time for you to seize the day

Instead of just sitting around
and looking down on tomorrow
You gotta let your feet off the ground,
the time is now

I'm waiting, waiting, just waiting,
I'm waiting, waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines

Try to have no regrets
even if it's just tonight
How you gonna walk ahead
if you keep living behind

Stuck in my same position,
you deserve so much more
There's a whole world around us,
just waiting to be explored

Instead of just sitting around
and looking down on tomorrow
You gotta let your feet off the ground,
the time is now, just let it go

The world will force you to smile
I'm here to help you notice the rainbow
Cause I know,
What's in you is out there

I'm waiting, waiting, just waiting,
I'm waiting, waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines

I'm trying to be patient (I'm trying to be patient)
the first step is the hardest (the hardest)
I know you can make it,
go ahead and take it

I'm Waiting, waiting, just waiting I'm waiting
I'm waiting, waiting, just waiting
I'm waiting, waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines

You'll never enjoy your life
Living inside the box
You're so afraid of taking chances,
How you gonna reach the top?.

Taio Cruz: Telling the world

This week's song is from Taio Cruz. The song is called "Telling the world". It's from the movie "Rio" (you can see images from the movie on the video). Taio Cruz is an English singer, songwriter and music producer. You can find more things about Taio here.

Taio Cruz: Telling the world

The question is: What do you want to tell the world? (¿qué querrías contarle al mundo?)

These are the lyrics:

Every part in my heart I’m giving out
Every song on my lips I’m singing out
Any fear in my soul I’m letting go
And anyone who ask I’ll let them know

She’s the one, she’s the one
I say it loud
She’s the one, she’s the one
I say it proud

Ring a bell, Ring a bell
For the whole crowd
Ring a bell, Ring a bell

I’m telling the world
That I’ve found a girl
The one I can live for
The one who deserves

Every part in my heart I’m giving out
Every song on my lips I’m singing out
Any fear in my soul I’m letting go
And anyone who ask I’ll let them know

She’s the one, she’s the one
I say it loud
She’s the one, she’s the one
I say it proud

Ring a bell, Ring a bell
For the whole crowd
Ring a bell, Ring a bell

I’m telling the world
That I’ve found a girl
The one I can live for
The one who deserves

To give all my heart
A reason to fly
The one I can live for
A reason for life

Oe oh oe oh
Yeah yeah
Oe oh oe oh
Yeah yeah
Oe oh oe oh
Yeah yeah
