Groundhog Day

February 2nd  is "groundhog day" in the USA. That means that they honour that particular and beautiful animal.  If you could have a day for an animal, what would you choose and why?. (si pudieses dedicar un día a un animal, ¿qué animal elegirías?)


By the way groundhog in Spanish is "marmota", and they are cousins of the prairy dogs "perrillos de las praderas.

    Goundhog is in American English and marmot in British English!!! It's the same animal.

    Wow!! By now we have: DOG, SEAL, GROUNDHOG, HYENA, TIGER, OWL, WOLF, MONKEY, GUINEA PIG...
